In collaboration with STRIDES by Excelsior Sports Medicine, the Foundation for Orthopeadic Research and Continuing Education (FORCE) presents the 2nd Annual Soaker 7.7K Run/Walk to promote the prevention of heat-related illness in sport and support health and safety for all athletes.
In spirit of the “Soaker” Run/Walk, this 7.7K course runs alongside the Buffalo waterfront and participants can enjoy picturesque views of Lake Erie. Best of all, through the involvement of local Fire Departments, we can ensure that our Soaker runners/walkers are properly hydrated from head to toe!
Join us for our post-race party in the Harbor with a special appearance from the Edward M. Cotter (fireboat), great music, selection of beer (must be 21 years of age or older), beverages, and food from the Sahlen’s Grillin-Wagon.
This is one race you won’t want to miss!
